Tissue engineering which is also called regenerative medicine refers to the attempt to create functional human tissue from cells in a laboratory. Its definitive objective is to be a fix not just treatment by fixing or supplanting tissues and organs that flop because of disease, hereditary mistakes, congenital abnormalities, or traumatic injury. Tissue engineering depends on 4 significant elements.
1. The right cells to carry out the responsibility.
2. The right environment such as a scaffold to help the cells.
3. Bio atoms like development components to make those cells solid and beneficial.
4. Physical and mechanical powers to impact the advancement of the cells.
The cells can be directly harvested from the target organ, developed from precursor or stem cells are taken from lines grown in the lab all ideally from the patient as that limits project with rejection. The supporting tissues had come from the donor tissue from natural or artificial polymers made to order for their strength or endurance.
Biomolecules can be added directly or coaxed from the cells that take up residence on the scaffolds. Sometimes the scaffolds melt over time however others remain to provide support to the organ.
